The Mains Family- Rabbit Hash, KY Session, Northern Kentucky Family Photographer

Family is not an important thing, it’s everything.
— Michael J. Fox

When Allie first sent me a Facebook message and asked if she could schedule her family's session on a Christmas tree farm, I was a little nervous. I wasn't sure of where any were around us and if we would find one. I did some research, but it didn't pan out. However, I did think of Rabbit Hash as a fun and rustic spot for Christmas photos. Thankfully, Allie and her family were on board.

Rabbit Hash is so rustic and it honestly feels like you have gone back in time when you visit. All of the buildings (all three or four of them) are historical landmarks. The mayor of the small town was a Border Collie named Lucy Lu, but since our photo session, a Pit Bull won the election and is now serving as mayor. I love quirky little towns like this.

The Mains family is just adorable. They were so easy to get along with and little miss Livie was the cutest. Allie brought a mistletoe Christmas ornament and Livie wouldn't put it down for most of the session. It was too funny. This little girl is about to turn one, so I'd like to just go ahead and wish her a happy (early) first birthday!!
