Welcome, October- Northern Kentucky Family Photographer

Listen! The wind is rising, and the air is wild with leaves, we have had our summer evenings, now for October eves!
— Humbert Wolfe

I love fall! Not in the "pumpkin spice latte" kind of way. Actually, I hate all things pumpkin spice and I hate apple cider too (blasphemy, I know!). I love that the weather is getting cooler. Well, it should be getting cooler, but Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati haven't got the memo yet. I love Halloween and getting the kids' costumes all ready. This year we're even going to go with a family theme (so be prepared for that, ha!). I've always thought of Fall as the start of the holiday season. I love how much we spend time with our families and all of the activities. I always look forward to the last three months of the year.

I never went to a pumpkin patch as a kid. Heck, I don't even really remember hearing much about them until we had Emmalynn. Now, I love them. We've been visiting Kinman Farms ever since Emmalynn was a baby. I love that we can continue the tradition with our kids and that we get to share it with their cousins. I recently turned 30 and we spent my birthday weekend at the pumpkin patch and then my sister, mom, and I went and saw Wicked. It was a perfect Sunday.
