Our January- Northern Kentucky Family Documentary Photographer

There are far better things ahead than anything we leave behind.

I want to do things a little differently this year with the blog. I want to document my family each month and share it here. As for many mothers, especially creatives, my kids are my muse. I can be as creative as I want with our photo shoots. Most often, I just like to document our days.

January was a rough month for us. All four of us were plagued with the dreaded flu. Emmalynn's turned into bronchitis and pnemonia. We were still able to squeeze in some adventures though. Alex and I chose the word "fun" for our family this year. So here is to sharing our fun with you in 2018. Enjoy!

My sweet nephew and Godson, Turner, turned one and we celebrated him.

I've been playing around with minimal light. This was taken with just one, dim lightbulb as my only source of light.

Emmalynn was thrilled to get a snow day and was catching snowflakes.

We added these two to the family. Welcome, Sprinkles (left) and Cupcake (right)!

I got a little weird with a double-exposure, self portrait.
