2017, a year in reflection- Northern Kentucky Photographer

Time spent in self reflection is never wasted...
— Dr. Paul T. P. Wong

It is officially 2018, I know I may be a little late to the party, but such is my life. My entire family, all four of us, suffered with the flu in January. Not only did we all suffer, but we all took turns. Each of us suffering a separate week than the others. Which just dragged out  into a full month of sickness. Emmalynn's flu manifested into pneumonia and bronchitis. I am happy to announce that we have all bounced back and are doing well (I am knocking on wood as I type this).

2017 was a big year for me and my little business. For one, I officially became a business. I launched Nikki Tewes Photography in January of 2017 and I couldn't be happier with my first year of growth. That's exactly what I did. I grew. I grew as a person, a mother, a business owner. It didn't come without some growing pains, but what journey into the unknown doesn't?

I am continuously pushing myself to learn and grow. I don't want to become bored with my work. I don't want to stifle my creativity. I really want to share more with you all this year. I want you to see my creative projects that have been floating inside my head finally come to fruition. I want to have fun in 2018 and more than anything I want you to join me for the ride. So buckle up, it's going to be bumpy (BUT FUN!).

Here's a little look back at 2017. THANK YOU so much to all of those of you who have supported my business and me, as a friend! I can't fully express my gratitude enough.
